Jasmine and Marvin's Wedding Reception

Catherine and I got to do our first Wedding-esque shoot! With Jasmine and Marvin having a destination wedding in Jamaica, they had a beautiful wedding reception for all of their friends and family on July 20th. 

The decor was gorgeous and fun to photograph! 

Jasmine spent some time in the hotel getting ready with her mother, and we got to take a few photos around the room. Gorgeous shoes!! 

                  

Finally they entered (looking amazing I might add), and the party was underway. 

We got to take the bride and groom out and around the hotel for some pictures of the two of them. They are such a handsome couple, and we are stoked about the outcome of these! 

                   

And the groom got a few of just himself! 

Jasmine and Marvin also have a message for those who came and made the night special! They were so much fun and did pretty much anything we asked them to do (which thoroughly explains this picture)... They are just adorable, right?

It was a beautiful and incredibly fun reception. Catherine and I were so excited to get to shoot it, and we are so excited about the outcome! Thank you to Belinda (mother of the bride), Jasmine, and Marvin for allowing us to be such a special part of this occasion!

Sharon's "Just Because I Look Awesome" Portraits

The first thing you should know about Sharon is that she would never call these her "Just Because I Look Awesome" portraits. However, as people that have known Sharon for a long time now, we have to say that she's one of the most awesome people out there, and she looks pretty awesome, too. We figure that since there was no formal reason for these pictures, that's the name we'd give them.

A few years ago, Sharon started down the tough road of weight loss, and years later she still looks fabulous! We, along with so many others who know her, are so proud of her, but there aren't a whole lot of pictures of her since her weight loss. For this reason, she asked that we take some pictures of her, and it may have been the most fun we've had during a photo shoot. After about an hour of nearly constant laughter, and a few days of editing, 88 Buttons is proud to show Sharon's "Just Because I Look Awesome" portraits. She really does look super awesome.

Thanks to Sharon for letting us document this part of your life! We love you so much, and you're just plain gorgeous!
